 So is it the name Alastair Machray which ensure an alert pops up on someone's screen and the post is read?

Alastair Machray was the editor of the dodgy rag the Liverpool Echo. It seems that sometime ago IPSO appointed him to its complaints' committee. 
Given my experience of dealing with the creep and the general appalling behaviour of Reach PLC it is yet another reason to avoid this self-appointed group. Like the Solicitor Regulation Authority and IOPC its job to protect the papers from the consequences of "rogue" companies and individuals not to protected the public, from them.

Protected the public would mean admitting there are problems and that will only be done when there is absolutely no way to reject the complaint.

Don't waste time if you can afford it sue the fuckers.
